We recognize service, contribution, and distinction in a way that strengthens unity, honours commitment, and reinforces the values that guide FUTURITALIA.

Recognition should strengthen cooperation — not competition.

Our recognition system is designed to celebrate long-term service, excellence in contribution, and exceptional distinction without encouraging internal rivalry. It exists to reinforce shared purpose, honour those who serve, and uphold the values that unite our people, volunteers, and partners.

Years of Service Award Pins recognize volunteers and employees who have dedicated meaningful periods of time in service to FUTURITALIA. These recognitions honour consistency, loyalty, and the long-term commitment needed to build enduring institutions.

Designed as a non-competitive foundation of institutional recognition.

Recognition of contribution in action

Excellence & Distinction Awards recognize teams, volunteers, and partners whose actions reflect FUTURITALIA’s values through service, collaboration, innovation, leadership, and public impact. These awards are designed to honour meaningful contribution without creating a culture of internal competition.

Awarded to teams, volunteers, and partners.

Based on values demonstrated through contribution and conduct.

Multiple recipients may be recognized where meaningful contribution is demonstrated.

FUTURITALIA Order of Merit
The organization’s highest honour

The FUTURITALIA Order of Merit is FUTURITALIA’s highest honour. It is reserved for individuals or entities whose service, leadership, and contribution have had exceptional and lasting significance to FUTURITALIA’s mission, development, or national impact.

May be awarded to staff, volunteers, partners, or distinguished external contributors.

Reserved for rare and exceptional contribution.

Structured as a formal honour of the highest distinction.

Recognizes rare and exceptional contribution of lasting significance to FUTURITALIA’s mission, development, partnerships, or national impact. This honour is reserved for individuals or entities whose actions demonstrate extraordinary commitment, distinguished service, and lasting contribution to Italy’s recovery and long-term development.

Principles of Recognition

Recognition must support trust, cooperation, and shared purpose across the organization.

Recognition must strengthen unity

Awards should reinforce cooperation across teams, functions, and partnerships. They should never encourage fragmentation or rivalry where collaboration is required.

Recognition must be fair and values-based

Recognition should be rooted in contribution, integrity, service, and conduct. It must reflect FUTURITALIA’s values and be granted through clear and credible standards.

Recognition should include different forms of service
